This wonderfully shaped shell is available in either is natural state; decorated in tiger like brown stripes or polished where the outer layer of the shell has been removed to reveal its blue/white mother of pearl beneath.
It is common to the Philippine and the Palau Islands, and is usually found living in colonies.
