Our Plump Flump knit kits come in four colours of gorgeously chunky self-striping wool & are perfect for a novice knitter- all you need to know to make your own Flump is- cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and casting off, no increasing or decreasing or changing colours. The yarn is the best quality chunky wool available, so it is a pleasure to knit. Makes a perfect gift for a young (or not so young!) lady learning to knit.
Kit makes one flump in the self-striping colour of your choice (if you hover your mouse over the thumbnail images above you will be able to see which colour is which)
Kit contains: plenty of wool, bamboo knitting needles, plastic darning needle, thread, felt, stuffing, beads, simple-to-follow full-colour illustrated instructions, and a promise of full post-purchase help just in case you get stuck! (a gift card with your message can also be included at no extra cost if the kit is being sent as a present.) All packaged in a large attractive Gift Horse kit box and sent first class (The only item not included in this kit for safety reasons is a metal sewing needle.)
Measures approx 16cm tall by 16cm wide when completed. Flumps are indolent, lazy creatures so prefer to lie down, but are happy to lean against something to stand up!
Not suitable for young children due to small parts (beads) and wooden knitting needles. Please note that due to the way the wool is dyed, the stripes may knit up in slightly different positions on the finished Flump.

An excellent kit with everything you need to create a really cute little character. I've already finished as found it addictive to do and I filled it with heavy pebbled as well as the filling to make it into a door stop. Absolutely love it!
