The colours are amazing on the black background and the chart is in great vintage condition, some signs of wear but otherwise beautifully conserved. The colours are still vibrant and fresh against the black background. Please have a good look at the pictures for more detail on the condition of the chart.
This chart depicts the Wild Carrot (Daucus carota). The details on the chart depict the development of the plant, it's seeds and bloom in gorgeous detail and colour against a deep black background. Daucus carota is a flowering plant in the family Apiaceae, native to temperate regions of Europe, southwest Asia and naturalized to North America and Australia.
These educational charts are genuine school charts and were used for decades in biology lessons. The deep black background would enable teachers to use it as a blackboard and to write on the chart with chalk during the lesson. These particular charts are very popular with interior designers as they add instant drama to a room with a story to tell.
Classroom charts are very sought after and are hard to come by in this great genuine vintage condition. As this is a genuine vintage item, there is only one available.
All our charts and prints are genuine vintage items, not reproductions.
This chart is printed on paper with a linen backing and comes with two wooden dowels and a string for hanging up. These charts are very light and only need a single nail for hanging up on the wall.
