This elegant trio of swallows is a contemporary take on the iconic flying ducks from our grandparents' days, finely crafted with original pieces of vintage maps and charts. Each one is hand made from 3mm birch ply and is sent to you ready for mounting with double-sided sticky pads on the reverse.
Allow us to select pieces of maps and charts to create a beautiful piece of wall art for you. Or if you prefer, tell us where in the world you'd like to see displayed on each bird and we will find the maps that will make your swallows truly unique.

Please note, if the map you require isn’t already in our collection we may have to order it in, but we’ll always let you know of any potential delays when we receive you order. Also, please provide only one location to be featured per box; extra locations or details could delay your piece.
Modern versus vintage maps: Please remember that modern tourist names are not always marked on vintage maps, and that history occasionally changes names and territories. Specific building may not appear on the maps, and most contemporary resorts hadn’t been built when most of our maps were drawn.
Popular locations: Because some locations are very popular, the vintage maps are becoming increasingly rare. To keep to our ethos of creating unique, personalised gifts, we have our own team of talented illustrators and cartographers, who will occasionally draw some maps in their own vintage style.
No sample service available: As we use pieces of real maps - never copies - we regret that we are unable to offer a sample service, or to send photographs for approval or comments.

A perfect 40th Birthday gift for my sister. She loved them! They are beautiful and carry with them lots of lovely memories. A lovely 'retro' gift. Beautifully packaged.

I have only seen these on Skype as they were sent straight to my daughter and son-in-law in the States, but they were delighted with them. The personalised maps chosen were exactly what I was hoping for.
