Our signature product, the Vintage Map Heart makes the perfect handmade gift for a friend or loved one.
Simply choose a single location that’s dear to their heart, and we’ll source a vintage map of the area before transforming it into a beautiful, bespoke artwork. The heart map can then be finished with a handmade frame.
A thoughtful, heartfelt and unique gift, the Vintage Map Heart is ideal for birthdays and anniversaries as well as a new home, wedding or leaving gift. It’s particularly apt for a first wedding anniversary as the traditional gift is paper – what better than to give a beautiful, meaningful gift made out of gorgeous vintage paper?
Of course, the map only details the location – it’s the heart behind it that tells the story.
Important Information:
The maps If the map you require isn’t already in our collection we may have to order it in, but we’ll always let you know of any potential delays when we receive you order. Also, please provide only one location to be featured per box; extra locations or details could delay your piece.
Modern versus vintage maps Please remember that modern tourist names are not always marked on vintage maps, and that history occasionally changes names and territories. Specific building may not appear on the maps, and most contemporary resorts hadn’t been built when most of our maps were drawn.
Popular locations Because some locations are very popular, the vintage maps are becoming increasingly rare. To keep to our ethos of creating unique, personalised gifts, we have our own team of talented illustrators and cartographers, who will occasionally draw some maps in their own vintage style.
No sample service available As we use pieces of real maps - never copies - we regret that we are unable to offer a sample service, or to send photographs for approval or comments.
Frames Our frames are all hand-made as well; from limed wood and perspex.

I only had limited time to receive this personised gift, but it w3as made and arrived very promptly. The choice of map was exceptional and I was extremely happy with the product overall.

I was absolutely delighted with the Bespoke Map Heart and I thought the beautiful packaging was a lovely touch. I would definitely use the company again.
