Hand-glazed, hand-cut, giant framable vintage map heart. From my collection of maps, I select the location of your choice & hand-bond them giving them a stiff, glossy paintilly texture.     

The map is then hand cut into the shape of a heart & it is then mounted on textured watercolour paper 0.3cm proud. 

A perfect anniversary, new home, or wedding gift. Just tell me the location you want on your heart - wherever it is in the world and I will rummage in my vintage map collection for you. The maps often show natural folds and also age spots and markings that paper develops over years.

Limed wood & UV perspex Frame: 29x29cm.

Approximate delivery times are clearly stated. Please note that due to the bespoke nature of each heart, the lead times are a basic indication for straight forward locations. If you order a location which requires me to order a map specially for you it may take longer. If you need to ensure your piece is ready for a particular date please confirm this prior to placing the order and then ensure you make a note clearly on the order when checking out.  

These maps are real maps and NOT printouts so I am unable to offer a sample service or simulate what your heart will look like before making it.

  loved the product but it took a long time to get to me, it states expected delivery 2 weeks and it took a lot longer. It would have been nice to know this when I bought the product because it meant is was late for a birthday.

  Very individual gift and just what we wanted. Appeared smaller than expected ( altho admittedly measurements are provided). Prolonged time period betwen ordering and receiving, and since this was a birthday gift, the delay rather spoiled things.

  Really pleased with the product and my daughter in law (for whom it was a gift) was thrilled . I was anxious that the item would not arrive on time but when I contacted you, I was given very prompt feedback regarding delivery times etc and it did arrive when required.

  The heart shaped picture I purchased was massively overpriced. I really cannot believe I paid over £80 for such a small basic picture. Very very disappointed which has put me off buying again from the website which looked very appealing. It was a wedding present from a lists but I have no doubt the bride will be hugely disappointed with it.

  I have to say that i am very pleased with the framed heart map of south america, however i do also have to say that i do not think that it looks like it cost approx £80. It is for a wedding present and i'm sure they will love it!

  I was actually going to write and complain about the product I received. The Heart map arrived mounted onto mount board and ready to frame. I had it professionally framed and then I noticed that the heart had come away from the mount board at one side. This meant I had to take it back to the framer to take it apart and it appeared that they had forgotton to take off half of the double sided sticky tape to stick it down, therefore it was not stuck properly. This exercise cost me money so I was disappointed, plus it was a wedding gift and so embarrassingly I had to explain what had happened. It was disappointing as I have ordered from Bombus before and the product was wonderful, sadly this time they let themselves down.

  I haven't seen it as it was sent to my friend directly. Pleased with service although they seem quite difficult to get hold of. I wanted to inform them of a change of address, they did action this but I've not had a direct response, I had to contact my friend to check they'd received it. Lovely item though, my friend is pleased. :o)

  The map heart is as good as advertised and, when framed (privately), will thrill my girlfriend. The emails with the maker were timely; I would use her again. The packaging was excellent as were the extra gift tag for me to use, the little confetti map cut-outs (which I can re-use) and her personal, hand-written tag to me. She deserves praise for her high standards and attention to detail; a pleasure to deal with.

  Whilst there was a delay (you are warned of this when ordering) in receiving the product, this was by no means a problem for something unique and custom made. I was very happy with the final items, high quality finish, packaged well and the confetti made from maps was a particularly nice touch. Very nice!
