A unique gift for a special occasion, these beautifully crafted freestanding numbers are hand-cut from solid wood and découpaged with a vintage map showing the location of your choice, anywhere in the world.
Choose a map location dearest to you and our artists will search our archives to find original vintage maps of the area you request. Numbers 0-9 are available.
Price is per number. If you require more than one, please add them to your shopping bag individually. The total will be calculated automatically.
Important Information
The maps If the map you require isn’t already in our collection we may have to order it in, but we’ll always let you know of any potential delays when we receive you order. Also, please provide only one location to be featured per box; extra locations or details could delay your piece.
Modern versus vintage maps Please remember that modern tourist names are not always marked on vintage maps, and that history occasionally changes names and territories. Specific building may not appear on the maps, and most contemporary resorts hadn’t been built when most of our maps were drawn.
Popular locations Because some locations are very popular, the vintage maps are becoming increasingly rare. To keep to our ethos of creating unique, personalised gifts, we have our own team of talented illustrators and cartographers, who will occasionally draw some maps in their own vintage style.
No sample service available As we use pieces of real maps - never copies - we regret that we are unable to offer a sample service, or to send photographs for approval or comments.

Both the giver and reciever of the gift were very pleased with the product - I chose to go with the birthplace of my Hubby for his 50th. And he loves it and it looks very eye catching even free standing - he is so happy to see the exact spot where he grew up on the map that was selected. Not only was the product itself of good quality but a lot of attention has been paid to the fine details as well, even down to the packaging and little thank you letter to the orderer. Will definitely do this again for other family members with other siginificant birthdays coming up!
