Design company Block was formed in Cornwall in 2000 by Tara Ashe. Her eclectic background of engineering and applied arts inspired an interesting range of products for the home. Twelve years on Tara is still the lead designer at Block, and now has a small team of designers who are just as passionate about design as she is. Block has a distinctive style and a love of colour, their passion for colour is the inspiration behind every design.

Contemporary design tends to be stark, minimal and in very masculine, corporate colour ways, Block want to show that cutting edge design can be produced in confident, modern and trend driven colour ways.

As well as interior accessories Block now have a range of gifts and jewellery, all in their signature style.
