A stunning weathervane showing the silhouettes of mother and baby elephants. Guaranteed to stand out and be noticed in any neighbourhood.
This weathervane design shows a baby elephant following its mother and holding her tail in his trunk. It would make a wonderful gift for anyone with a love of elephants. While the sharp laser cutting of the design gives it quite a contemporary feel, the matt black powder coating retains the look of traditional black ironwork.
This weathervane functions perfectly and is designed to last, and its size would suit a single storey house or cottage, or a large garage.
Variations
Please have a look at the other images and choose from our celtic or traditional arrow, and which style of cardinal points (letter bars) you would prefer. It is entirely a matter of your personal taste.
We offer several mounting brackets for our weathervanes depending on where they will be fixed, for example ridge, spire or gable end. The post fixing is designed to be attached to any horizontal surface. If you are unsure which would be most suitable, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Fixing bolts are not included as requirements vary dependant on application. If attaching to masonry we recommend using heavy duty anchor bolts however for attaching to wood coach screws may be more appropriate.
The gold leaf used is 23.5 carat, and while it is weatherproof, it should not be handled.

Made from steel and electroplated to prevent rusting, a matt black powdercoat is then baked on.
