This handmade tanzanite and sterling silver dewdrop necklace is stunning - it would make a gorgeous gift.
Each dainty necklace is handmade in my Somerset studio using natural tanzanite beads and a classic sterling silver trace chain, finished with a bolt ring clasp and jump ring.
The beautiful semi-precious tanzanite beads are a striking shade of cornflower blue.
Tanzanite is the birthstone for December.
Tanzanite is the rare blue/purple variety of the mineral zoisite and is one of the most desired gems in the world. It is noted for its remarkably strong trichroism: its ability to exhibit three different colours when viewed from three different directions, appearing sapphire blue, violet, and burgundy depending on crystal orientation.
Lightweight and comfortable, it is a beautiful and timeless necklace and, due to its natural elegance, is perfect for any occasion.

Due to the natural nature of the tanzanite gemstones, their shapes, sizes and colour may vary, and they may have natural formation marks.
