Bellingham Soap Company

The Bellingham Soap Company is run by Allyson Proudfoot, an ex TV Costume Designer, who has been a professional formulator of natural luxury skincare products since 1997.

Working from a beautiful old Victorian barn, nestled just below the vallum of Hadrians Wall in Northumberland, Allyson says "I want our products to be the best they can be. I only use natural sustainable ingredients to make our ethical soaps and skincare. I won't use SLS, Parabens, Phthalates, artificial colours, chemical stabilisers or fragrances. The only water we use in our products comes from our own clear spring; to ensure safety and purity we have a state of the art water treatment plant complete with UV steriliser. After all, if it's safe for us to drink, it's safe for your skin.

Production is in small batches for optimum freshness. We pride ourselves on our quality. We do not use cheap filler oils or waxes and we fully comply with all relevant EU cosmetic regulations. You won't find any heavy machinery in our workshop...just good old fashioned artisan skills and a wealth of experience gained over many years. We want you to feel glowing, pampered and special.
