I’ve been making jewellery since I was a little girl, and while you’ll be pleased to hear my designs have evolved a little since then, I’ve still got a magpie’s eye for beautiful things and a fascination for what I can create with them.
I started Beadin’ Nora back in 2007, designing in the evenings alongside my day job. With quirky pieces incorporating vintage beads, charms and stones, the collection caught the attention of several magazines, including Cosmopolitan, and quickly earned a loyal following.
In 2012 I made the leap and took Beadin’ Nora full time, focusing the collection on delicate, contemporary pieces that feel luxurious and easy to wear. I take my inspiration from nature and a love of pattern design, sourcing unusual vintage glass stones and beautiful semi-precious beads to create contrasts of tone, shape and texture.
Today I’m lucky enough to work from my home studio in Yorkshire, looking out on my lovely garden, drinking tea and using gorgeous 14ct gold-filled and rose gold-filled findings to hold each handpicked stone. I make every piece to order, so if you have any special requests, I’d love to help.
