A pair of porcelain lovebirds.
Lovebirds mate for life and spend most of their time perched happily together on their branch. While it sounds delightful it is not exactly practical for us humans. So why not have the next best thing?
Buy a pair of these charming little personalised love birds for your wedding, or give them as a gift to a deserving couple to celebrate their wedding or anniversary. Or why not just treat your loved ones to a thoughtful and unique keepsake?
Your personalised lovebirds are hand crafted from porcelain and come in two sizes. The small ones are quite petite, measuring approx. W3.5cm x H2.5cm, and are just the right size to sit together on your wedding cake, mantelpiece, dressing table or windowsill. You may prefer your birds to be a bit bigger. The slightly larger birds measure approx. W5cm x H3cm. Simply choose which size you want in the drop down menu.
Neither size is overly large, as solid porcelain has its limitations.
We advise that names using all capitals doesn't look very nice, so birds will always be made using upper case and lower case letters. Names that are all lower case letters look fine, and orders requesting this can be fulfilled.
Made from:
Ceramic. No moulds are used in this entirely handmade proces, so there will be irregularities. This is to be embraced this as part of your handmade lovebirds’ unique charm.
Choose your text glaze colour from: green, light blue, light pink, red, lilac, yellow or black.
Names will be highlighted in the glaze colour of your choice, and the white bodies of your birds will be covered in glossy clear glaze (except the base of each bird). Glaze and birds are non-toxic and food safe.
Your lovebirds can fit a maximum of ten letters for each name.
Please buy your birds as soon as possible to allow time for making and shipping.
Important: Please make sure you double-check your personalised names before purchase. Names will be spelled exactly as you have typed them.

07 May 2013Birds did not look as on the picture. Poorly finished, was clearly a rushed job. You could tell how they had been shaped with indents from finger pressure which wouldn't have been too bad except that the bird head wasn't as 'round' as on the photo making it look like a rectangle with a beak. The body of the birds isn't round either but rather flat. One bird barely manages stays up with a wobble. Really upset, can't return them as the wedding is next week.
