The design for City Lights Yemen was inspired by images of the traditional tower houses found throughout Yemen. A soft luminescent light is exuded through the ancient craft of alabaster window panes.
Whilst no attempt was made to re-create the original material, a flickering fairy light or battery-operated nightlight goes some way to capturing the charm of these historic and beautiful buildings.
Place a row of towers on a shelf or mantelpiece and bring the exotic into your home. Spice up a Christmas party, wedding or corporate event with rows of twinkling lights.
Each set of City Lights Yemen comes beautifully presented in a mailer containing three flat-packed, easily assembled, cardboard towers. The towers open to sit squarely over your chosen light source. They can be folded flat again and stored. Produced in the UK, City Lights Yemen is made from 95% recycled card and is not fireproof. The product is not designed to be used with candles or other naked flames.
Sets of City Lights Yemen are available with either the brown or white surface on the outside. Light sources are not included.
The largest of the towers measures H30 x W10 x D8cm, the middle size is H22 x W12 x D9cm, and the smallest size is H19 x W13 x D8cm. They fit easily on a shelf, on top of a cupboard, dresser or mantelpiece.

The product is as described but in reality it is difficult to achieve the lighting effect shown in the picture. You would need mains lighting to light up the houses from top to bottom as shown. I bought LED tea lights but these are only available as flickering and these just made the houses look like they were on fire!
