A small square cushion. This cushion had delicate hand embroidered stitching. A stylish addition to any room!
Dune cushion is hand embroidered by women artisans in Tajikistan, using the traditional craft technique 'Suzani'. Suzani means needle and is a traditional Persian and Central Asian skill that is passed down generations. Creating the Suzani design for each cushion is a complex, painstaking process which can only be done by hand embroidering. Each design is unique and is subject to strict rules. Suzani styles are distinctive so that an expert can immediately say where in Tajikistan an embroidered panel was made.
The four elements of earth, fire, air and water are the inspiration for this design.

100% cotton cushion cover. Zip closure and plain on the back.
Washing instructions: a light wipe with a dry cloth. We do not recommend washing or dry cleaning given the delicate nature of the cushion cover.
It is important to note that due to the handmade nature of the cushion, no two are exactly the same. Each cushion is unique.
