For the guitar hero.... or heroine.... in your life, a hand made sterling silver plectrum necklace.
Plectrums are hand cut from sterling silver sheet and, after sanding and polishing, they are hand stamped STERLING SILVER on the reverse. As with all hand made processes, variations may occur in exact size of the plectrum and with the appearance of hand stamp - this adds to the uniqueness and charm of the product.
Plectrums are attached, via a heavyweight sterling silver jump ring, to a sterling silver ball chain necklace. Jump rings are sturdy, however, they are not soldered so, as with all precious jewellery items, care must be taken when worn.
All Ava Mae Designs jewellery items are gift wrapped in an organza bag and placed inside a matt black gift envelope tied with white organza ribbon.

Both silver jewelry and sterlingware can also be marked "Ster", "STER", "Sterling" or "STERLING SILVER". Sometimes this stamp accompanies another sterling marking; sometimes it is the only marking. Not happy with the finish - the hole for the chain seems a bit rough, not filed down properly. I also thought all sterling silver had to bear the 925 hallmark, which this item doesn't. As I needed it quickly, didn't return item.
