Whilst running A Tribe Well Dressed from my kitchen table, I also teach Fashion at my local college where I lecture on sustainability and understanding how what we buy effects the planet. This ethos feeds heavily into my brand, I only use second hand or small bath organic cotton products and I am trying to turn Tribe into a circular brand, so that once the jackets are outgrown, I can sell them on for you to extend the lifespan further, and you get a little something back once you no longer use the jackets.

I have small scale slow fashion approach making each letter by hand and embroidered by myself at home. The process of constructing the letters is made up of a combination of patchwork fabrics, which means no two designs are alike, and are made using a zero waste approach to reduce the amount of fabric wasted. This means the designs can be made as personal to you as you like, to incorporate particular colours and are then embroidered on to the jackets in contrast threads.
