A beautiful handmade artwork of cut paper butterflies
This stunning handmade artwork is a collection of single butterflies created from paper and book pages set in a shadow box frame. Two special butterflies are faced with gold leaf and have an underside of text.
This special piece would make a unique and personalised gift for anyone special. It is part of a series of works based on literature, inspired by my fascination with museum collections. Each butterfly is individually cut by hand and each piece is a unique work of art.
Variations
A similar piece can be commissioned to include favourite book, poetry or music, making a great personalised gift. The picture comes in a choice of white (white background and butterflies) or black (black background and butterflies) with a choice of black, white or natural wood frame
