Alison Milner

Elegant and practical products from designer maker Alison Milner. Porcelain badges, formica tables, ceramic pots, greeting cards and glass flasks. Everything has an English flavour and a subtly retro feel.

Alison trained at the Royal College of Art, and has worked as a designer for over twenty years. She lives and works in Worthing on the south coast and enjoys collaborating with others on her projects.

Alison has worked with potter Christiane Kersten since 2005 on their very successful range of slipcast ceramics with transfer decoration.

Alison loves being English and likes to celebrate the ordinary and overlooked: the weeds on the waste plot, stones and shells picked up on the beach, and the bits and pieces at the back of the kitchen drawer. She aims to design products that people want to keep and which become part of their history and memories.
