Ali Bali Jewellery

A beautiful collection of hand crafted silver jewellery made by Alison Reid in her Edinburgh workshop.

Alison started creating Ali Bali Jewellery collections in 2007, whilst continuing to work full time as a Human Resources Manager. In January 2010 she left her job to concentrate fully on jewellery making, taking a series of silver smithing courses to increase her skills. Initially working from the dining table at home, after joining Not on the High Street in 2011 her jewellery business went from strength to strength and she moved into her current workshop in 2012.

Alison draws her inspiration from a wealth of sources, but words and phrases are of particular interest, drawing upon a life long passion for reading. This is reflected in Alison's range of personalised jewellery.

Alison also creates wonderful collections of wearable art which take their inspiration from the flora and fauna of Scotland. Simple, uncluttered designs feature strongly; look out for birds, leaves, floral and beach inspired designs.

Every piece of Ali Bali Jewellery is carefully handcrafted by Alison and hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office.
