A smart sign for your dog's home, personalised and engraved in slate.
This engraved slate sign will make a smart addition to the dog's kennel. It would make a lovely gift for the dog lover, or a thoughtful 'welcome to the family' gift for a new puppy.
These signs also make great nameplates for pony stables.
Being made of slate, these signs are quite chew-proof and they will live happily outside for many years.
Variations
We design and make these signs in our own workshop in Derbyshire, cutting each one by hand, treating it with danish oil for a soft sheen and engraving deeply through the finish. The engraved area is left in it's completely natural state.
We drill two holes in the sides of the sign and provide you with two screws so the nameplate can be easily attached to a wooden kennel or stable.
We can engrave a name of up to eight letters and always engrave this sign in capital letters.

Natural slate.
Each piece of slate is different in texture and may contain small pieces of pyrite (Fool's Gold) which is a naturally occurring mineral in the slate. We only engrave pieces of slate we would be happy to receive ourselves. Being a natural product, no two pieces are the same, making each one truly unique.
