St Leonards-on-Sea based Tilt Originals (formerly Something or Other based in North London) was set up by partners Jenny Lloyd and Jonathan Parkin in 2009 when they turned a long standing spare time interest into a business.

''We seek out old, generally unloved and neglected objects and pieces of furniture which appeal to us, and turn them into something new and unique. Almost every piece is a one-off; sourcing items is of course almost totally unpredictable and always compulsive. It's such a satisfying process, finding, and sometimes actually rescuing something interesting, seeing its possibilities and making it happen''.
