Product description
An unusual map of England & Wales, showing a highly detailed view of the geology (rock formations) of the two nations.
This geologist map was created by Roderick Impey Murchison and published by Chapman & Hall in 1843.
There is an incredible level of detail on this map, with dozens of annotations, towns, and other landmarks. It is incredibly rare to find a detailed, full colour map from the 1840s. No matter what size map you get, you'll be able to read all of the smallest place names.
This would make a wonderful birthday, Christmas, work leaving or housewarming gift for someone who has a fine taste in geology.
