Product description
This old, full colour and exceedingly rare map shows "The Kingdome of Scotland" as it was in 1611.
Created by one of Britain's most famed mapmakers, John Speed, the map was based on an earlier map by Mercator, engraved by Jodocus Hondius, and originally published in Speed's "The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britaine".
This is one of the most beautiful and decorative maps of Scotland ever made. It's one of my personal favourites. If you're going to get one old map of Scotland, this is the one. Take a look at the detailed images and try to spot your hometown!
