Suitable for small and large dogs alike, this long lead is made from full-grain, 2.8-3mm thick premium vegetable-tanned Italian leather, which we've paired with strong, solid brass hardware, sourced from one of England’s last remaining foundries.
The perfect gift for birthdays or new dog parents!
Hand cut from full-grain vegetable-tanned cowhide and conditioned with a blend of natural oils and beeswax to soften, preserve and help seal the leather, it will become even more beautiful with wear as it develops character and a unique patina.

Veg-tanned leather and solid brass hardware. As with all our leather collars and leads, we advise that they are not suitable for dogs that pull.
CARE GUIDE
If you want to keep your leather dog leash looking great for years to come, we suggest that from time to time you apply a little leather wax conditioner. We recommend using Sedgwicks Leather Feed to help preserve and protect the leather.
This natural wax will add a water-resistant barrier, but we advise against saturating the collar in water as this will cause the oils in the leather bind to the water molecules. As the water dries and evaporates, it'll draw out the oils with it, causing the leather to lose its supple quality and turn brittle.
Should your leash become soaked, it should be allowed to dry naturally and then treated with leather feed to keep the leather supple and well-nourished.
As leather is a natural material, may find the surface shows some minor variations in colour or even the occasional small imperfection.
