An extremely versatile accessory to match any outfit, my belt design looks classic and smart worn with a dress or with jeans.
The Walsall Leather Museum has acquired this belt for their permanent collection.
The beauty of good quality vegetable tanned hide is that it gets nicer the more you use it. For example, the Italian leather I source is nice and supple to begin with making it an instantly comfortable belt to wear. It shapes itself to your body as you wear it and polishes and patinates. The leather for the ring is sourced from one of the few specialist tanneries still working in Britain.
This fabulous quality hide leather belt is available in three versatile colours, two of which have contrasting coloured details.
The tan belt is contrasted with mahogany brown keepers and a chocolate coloured leather ring.
The coffee brown coloured belt is contrasted with black keepers and a tan leather ring.
I have also made an all black version.
It is a fantastic design that can be worn smart or casual, and if you make a little extra allowance on the length ordered, it looks great worn on the hips or the waist. The belt fastens without holes making it extremely adaptable.
The leather quality is fabulous and excellent value because every belt is hand-cut, dyed and polished by Sue. The width is is 44.5mm (1 3/4")vegetable tanned hide with a firm but supple finish. All my belts are made from solid leather and so there is no risk of cracking or breaking.
