Inspired by a trip to India in 1993, Mel brought home to East Lothian in Scotland, a passion for cooking authentic Indian-style curries.

Now with a family and no time for grinding spices or following long recipes, Mel feared her signature curries would become a thing of the past.

Mel set about finding the very best Indian spices and creating her own signature blends she knew would make the very best homemade curries, this would cut out time sourcing and grinding individual spices. Mel's new venture was Spice Pots, founded in 2013.

Our Spice Pots contain only the finest spices - no fillers or nasties. They are gluten-free and contain no sugar, salt or nuts.
