They make stunning gifts for new parents or grandparents, aunties or uncles.They are a particularly lovely way to commemorate baby's first Christmas and wouldnt they be ideal to leave out on Christmas Eve, filled with treats for Santa?
Variations
To create this plate, once you have placed your order, we will send you a kit containing special paper and a special 'inkless wipe', (plus full insturctions of course!) making it really easy to take the prints of your baby or child. Once you have done this, you can either scan them in and send us the file or put them back in the prepaid envelope we provide and pop them in the post to us. Please note, your prints will be black at this stage - don't panic! We'll magically change their colour later and can tidy up any smudges too.
If you choose to scan your prints your image should be scanned in black and white to 600dpi and in JPEG format.
To send us your scanned image: sign into your nothonthehighstreet.com account. Click on 'My orders', find the order youve placed with us, then click on 'order enquiry'. Scroll down and click on 'choose file' to attach your image, then click 'submit'. Let us know anything we might need to know in the enquiry box too.
When we receive the prints, we will change their colour and create special transfers from them which we will apply to the plate and then kiln fire, creating a permanent and durable finish.

Made from
There are two design options. Firstly, you could have two feet prints in the centre of the plate, to which we will add antlers drawn by us. Secondly, you could have one foot print in the centre and two handprints which we will position as antlers, this really needs to be on the larger of the two plates though to allow enough space. Please see examples of these in the images above.
The plates are made from bone china. The designs are applied by hand and they are then kiln fired.
It is very important to keep in mind the size of the central area available on the plates for the prints, which is; small plate 14.5cm diameter and larger plate 19cm diameter. The fingers can overlap onto the rim of the plate a little too though, but use this as a rough guide. Please check the size of your childs hand/feet before ordering. If your prints are too big, we can resize them to make them small enough to fit if required.
We can personalise you plate further with text around the rim of the plate and little snowflakes in red and grey to fill in any gaps and just to look extra Christmassy! We can also add a message to the back of the plate too if required.
Please note, the delivery of these items will take up to 10 days from the time we receive your prints back.
The plates are dishwasher and microwave safe.
