We're Henny and Sophie. We officially founded Smith & The Magpie in early 2019 and are based at our studio in Malton, North Yorkshire.

As Smith & The Magpie, we create design-led collections of wedding stationery and decor. The business is the evolution of our careers in the surface pattern design and styling industries, and because we saw a problem and wanted to fix it. What if you could choose from a matching collection of on-trend invitations and stationery for your event, with signage and table decorations, to match, all from the one place? So that’s what we did.

Our mission is to provide stylish, effortless pieces for design-conscious couples, at an affordable price. All of our collections are designed by us at our studio, and have their own personality and style. Each one features complimentary items to cover everything you’ll need for the occasion. Meaning a consistently beautiful wedding that's dead easy to organise, and looks great too.
