Sandy Dooley Contemporary Artist

I am completely passionate about painting! I love colour and spend my days chasing light and vibrancy on canvas, interpreting my ideas using paint. I work in my garden studio in the Weald of Kent on my contemporary landscape paintings. The play of light and shadow, and the in-the-moment experience of absorbing the world around me inform my work. I am also drawn by my memories of a childhood spent outside, the visual impact and pleasure of that still resonates with me.

I graduated from Central St Martin's School of Art in central London, and have shown my work widely. I was named as a 'One to Watch' by Saatchi Art in 2013, and have been featured numerous times on the site. I feature in their Autumn 2015 and Spring 2016 catalogues. I appeared with my paintings on the BBC in September 2015.

By the way...all my paintings are unframed, have white painted edges, and come ready to hang. They are signed on the front and back. You will also receive a Certificate of Authenticity with each painting.
