Product description
Plantable notecards handmade in the UK using nothing but waste cotton, british wildflower seeds and water.
The notecards are embedded with 24 varieties of native British wildflower seeds, specifically mixed by Ruby & Bo to support bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
The seeds, sourced from counties across the UK, are sent to artisan papermakers in the South of England who handmake the paper and hang it to air dry in the rafters of the mill. This helps to maximise the germination rate.
When the notecard is planted, the paper will compost away to leave only flowers. A mix of annuals to provide first year colour, as well as perennials, which will flower from year two.
The card can be potted indoors, or if the season is right, sown directly into the garden soil.
Each notecard comes with a recycled paper envelope, made using UK post-consumer (the greenest!) wasteand a set of planting instructions which double as a postage protector to keep your card safe in transit.
