These bottle openers are made from the staves of Scotch whisky casks.
Once the barrel staves are cut to length they are stripped and sanded using an intense 4 stage process. The beautiful oak grain which has been hidden for so many years is finally revealed. The end section of the stave is used maintaining the end detail (chime and croze) which is used to hold the lid in place. The actual opener is of the highest quality chrome and steel and there is a leather strap for hanging if required.
