Start with the St Laurent as this is a lighter style of wine and is the perfect aperitif. The Garnacha is a fuller wine that is also glorious with the cheese and biscuits, however, if you did want to move on to dinner this would pair brilliantly with steak, lamb or a smoky bean chilli.

Tasting Notes

St Laurent 2018: This is a bright and juicy red that celebrates the ripe red fruit from Austria's rolling hills. A medium bodied, refreshing red wine that is packed full of plums and mulberries over peppercorn spice and rustic tannins. It's made from indigenous St Laurent grapes grown on the Austrian family estate Weingut Glatzer in Carnuntum, south-east of Vienna. The grapes are hand-harvested and matured for 12 months in oak barriques before canning.

Old Vine Garnacha 2019: Smooth and silky, this is a beautifully balanced Garnacha from selected old vines in Aragon, Spain. Aromas of chocolate-coated cherries and cassis with some vanilla spice with a good tang of racy acidity. Fruit is all black cherry and bright strawberry. Tannins are smooth with a lovely almond finish. They are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and matured in oak for 12 months.
