Designed and handmade with passion and pride in the beautiful county of Northumberland.

Oscar & Toots is a well established brand of many moons bringing you unique, useable and affordable textile work.

The business was started by Christine and named after Oscar the cat and Toots the dog, both ever present, if not always productive, team members back in the early days.

Through her degree in design, love of art, colour and textiles Christine appreciated the pleasure that owning an original piece of work could bring and aimed to create work that was useful but also 'one off'. Oscar & Toots offers originality in every handmade piece. Incorporating various freehand machine embroidery techniques in the designs ensures that though the design theme may be repeated, each piece is indeed unique.

Living and working in beautiful Northumberland provides an endless source of inspiration for Christine's designs, the sea on the right, hills and valleys on the left and the unique Northumbrian humour all find their way into Oscar & Toots' work, which has been described as 'quintessentially British'.
