Finding & Restoring Lost Art Treasures

We're Ocularium - two curators/designers and an energetic dog. Creating a new print starts in the digital archives of museums and libraries globally. We search these repositories to find images we think would be appealing to our customers. Many of the original images need to be repaired, so we work on them digitally to mend tears, holes and creases as well as subtly enhancing contrast, colours and vibrancy to restore the images to their former glory.

Finished giclée arts are printed to order on high quality 250gsm pro lustre paper using a twelve colour printer with Japanese pigment inks ensuring the colours last a lifetime. We use recycled materials wherever possible, e.g. triangular cardboard tubes for postage thus removing the need for the plastic ends commonly found on round tubes. We strive for consistently excellent customer service and care passionately about the work we create.
