Melisa Dora is a t London Ceramic designer maker specialising in porcelain jewellery and handthrown stoneware tableware.
Melisa graduated with a first class degree in 2010 studying Wood and Ceramics at Brighton University for 4 years. Her love for making pots grew after university where she set up her own studio. Melisa concentrates on simple forms but likes to experiment with her own glaze recipes. All of her glazes are made from Scratch with Raw materials.
Attention to detail is the key factor in all of her pieces. Every piece is fired to stoneware at 1260 degrees making them strong and durable. As they are all individually handmade, items may vary slightly in colour and size.
All ceramic ware is carefully packaged with bubble wrap and Fragile tape in a cardboard box.
Jewellery is presented in a cardboard gift box and securely sealed in a jiffy bag.
