The Chesterfield is quintessentially British; some say the term stemmed from the fourth earl of Chesterfield, Philip Stanhope (1694-1773) who had the most eloquent furniture made in honour of him. Now known for its quality, robust assembly, French polishing, unique shaping and padding and mastered upholstery, the Chesterfield timelessly epitomises all that is British. Still known for its timeless features today, our recent visit to No.10 Downing Street and HRH Prince Charles visiting our studio highlights the importance of furniture restoration, British manufacturing, preservation and particularly leather repair today. Our House range includes: - Bourdoir chairs (5 colours) - Cigar brown armchairs (2 styles) - Cigar brown 2 seater (2 styles) One off restoration pieces from our London showroom.
We researched everything from design, to material, furniture re-upholstery, leather repair and refurbishment, to manufacture, quickly realising how much of this beautiful furniture exists unwanted, and over the years have honed our skill, craftsmanship and mastery to restore and produce unique and timeless pieces.
We are proud to provide our services to a diverse range of customers, all around the world.
