Our black terrazzo placemats are inspired by flooring material traditionally consisting of chips of marble or granite set in concrete and polished smooth.
The print is exclusive to MAiK and designed in house. These placemats were handmade in a family run UK factory. All materials are sustainably sourced.
Complete the look with a matching coaster.
Variations
Our placemats will arrive wrapped in polka dot tissue paper. As a company, our focus is on sustainability so we have always been reluctant to produce packaging just the sake of it. Previously we packaged our placemats in branded boxes. We asked our customers if they had kept the packaging, everyone told us that they opened it and immediately threw it away. When we heard this, we didn't think it was environmentally friendly to produce placemat boxes just for the sake of it. So from the beginning of 2019 we made the decision to simply wrap our placemats in tissue paper….and don’t worry our tissue paper is made from recycled pulp fibres!
Heat resistant to 150°C.
Hard wearing, easy to clean and stain resistant.
