In 2016 I quit my job as a womenswear buyer for a fast fashion retailer. It was here, on the frontline of fast fashion, sitting across the many negotiating tables from Shanghai to Delhi, always pushing for cheaper, for faster, that I realised that I was part of a massive problem.

No longer able to ignore the unease with the industry I was helping to fuel, I set off in search of how I could play my part in leaving the world a little better, not a little worse, no matter how small.

Loft & Daughter is the result of that journey- one of fewer & slower, & a belief that beautiful things can give back too.

Specialising in jewellery & homewares inspired by the beauty & magic of far flung places, this slow living brand exists to create maximum social & economic impact on the hands who make them, whilst leaving the lightest environmental footprint.

I’m on a mission to empower you to express your individual sense of style, whilst standing by your values, & here to prove that things can be even more beautiful when they are kind to both people & planet.
