Express your love with this unique lobster lovers gift of a 'You're my Lobster, let's hold claws for ever and ever' papercut.
Inspired by Phoebe from 'Friends' and created from two pieces of paper, this lobster papercut makes a perfect Valentine's gift and is bound to raise a smile for you and your favourite crusty.
This open edition papercut is cut to order in a paper colour of your choice, numbered on the reverse and available either unframed or framed.
You need to choose two paper colours - one for the background words and one for the lobsters holding claws. Choose from red, orange, yellow, white, bright green, lime green, aqua, flecked cream (100% recycled), bright blue, pale blue, bright pink, pale pink, purple, pale purple, black or light grey paper colours (see image for examples).
Frames are available in a choice of white, black, or reclaimed wood and are made for us by our local master framers here in Dorset. They are the floating frames (pictured) where your bespoke artwork is suspended inbetween two sheets of glass to allow your wall colour to show through, and are chunky enough to be freestanding or can be hung in the traditional way using the hanger at the back.
Gift wrapped orders are supplied carefully wrapped in tissue paper and bakers twine and includes a gift tag.
If you opt for no frame you will get just the piece of paper with your design cut out, which you can mount/frame yourself. As you can imagine it is very delicate and so is supplied on board inside a cello bag. I include instructions for removing the papercut from the board and framing in floating frames which you can sometimes find in high street shops.
Designed and cut from 2 sheets of paper
Please note: As the name suggests, our reclaimed wood frames are made from repurposed old wood and as such the end result can vary in colour with some darker or lighter than shown in the pictures. Also please be aware of slight imperfections and knots in the wood which add to the character and hints at the history of the wood (which might have come from an old barn, warehouse or factory).
Papercut is cut from 2 single sheets of 21 x 29.7cm (A4) paper
Small frame: 27cm x 33cm
