An unusual, handcrafted and hand painted wooden boomerang and, currently, exclusive in the UK to Knot Toys.
Our wooden boomerangs make a wonderfully unusual (and challenging) gift - think of the difficult dad or the teenager who is difficult to please! There is definitely a knack to throwing and my 10 year-old son mastered it after an hour or so in the garden! (I found it more difficult!).
Each boomerang is hand-crafted and hand painted in France and individually signed by Stephane Marguerite - who started throwing as a child and has competed in every world cup since 1988 as well as captaining the national French and Canadian teams.
The boomerang is presented in very ergonomic packaging printed on recycled paper with the full instruction sheet.
The Wankura is made from birch and is suitable for adults. It flies well in all winds, has a distance of about 25 to 30 metres, spins fast and is very easy to catch at the end - apparently!!
The Warramba is made from Birch wood, and is a funky, unequal shape. It is suitable for those aged from about 9 years and adults too, is best suited to light winds and has a range of about 20 metres.
The Warukay is made from birch wood and is the world's first ambidextrous boomerang, suitable for both right and left-handed throwers. It is suitable for those aged from about 9 years and adults too, is best suited to light winds and has a range of about 20 metres.
All boomerangs are available for both left-handers and right-handers and full throwing instructions are included on the back of the packaging.
Made from Finnish birch wood, oak and varnish and hand-painted. Wood is a natural material. The boomerangs are handcrafted with the greatest care, slight colour differences or product imperfections may occur. To maintain the quality and extend the life of your boomerang, we recommend to keep it away from too much humidity and let it hang on the wall.
