Founded by artist Dena O’Brien in 2012 Kiwi is a professional printmaking studio situated in the heart of Cornwall. Dena began her career in printmaking after studying a masters degree in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London, where she found her passion for screen printing and all things print based.

Dena creates playful timeless pieces seeking to win over her audience with a sense of creativity and spontaneity. Based in her countryside converted barn studio, Kiwi is a hub of inventive activity where Dena develops her ideas and drawings converting them into her unique prints.

All designs are hand printed in house, where ink colours are extensively mixed by hand and developed into a unique colour palette. Kiwi is a bright and energetic environment fuelled by creativity which helps Dena continue experimenting, bringing out her personality into every print.

Dena’s ethos is reflected in all Kiwi Printmaking studio pieces, ensuring all prints are registered and printed to a professional standard, focussing on the artists inventive mind and skilled hands, without loosing the unique quality that comes with handmade.

When you purchase a Kiwi product, each piece is beautifully wrapped in bright papers and twine, with Kiwi gift tags in keeping with the bold and bright colourful theme.
