Stunning hand blocked wool felt hat in a dark navy crown and teal brim. The trim on the hat is made from teal felt, that I have twisted to make a lovely simple detail between the two colours, with a felt bow mounted just off centre from the back. The brim has a a lovely eccentric sweep, which is then echoed in the crown having a great slant on the top. It is a very smart design but with an interesting twist. This deign that is in stock is made to fit head measurement of 22 inches.The brim measures 13.5 inches its width, and 15 inches front to back. The crown measure 4 inches from left and 6 inches from the right. It is possible to make it 1 inch larger, or put elastic inside the crown to make it 1inch smaller. This would mean a new hat being made if you wanted it to be either 21 inches or 23 inches. This would then have a 3-4week delivery. Your hat will be supplied in a lovely black and white hat box, so you can store it safely, and have a lovely striking box too! You can have this hat made in a variety of colours. It can all be made all in one colour, or like this design you can have the crown in one colour and the brim in another colour. Felt I am unable to dye, so it can only be made in stock colours, however there are more than 25 colours available. This is a list of the colours: Royal blue, Navy, Camel, Chocolate,Charcoal mix, Black, Bottle Green, Lime, Sky Blue, Emerald, Teal, Yellow, Gold, Orange, Cranberry, Red, Wine, Grey, Dusty Pink, Purple, Magenta, Fuschia, off white, Tobacco, Lilac. To have one made in a specific colour would take 3-4 weeks. If you require this option please get in touch via the 'ask the seller' button to discuss your requirements.Before placing your order you'll need to send a swatch of the fabric you'd like to match, so I can compare it to the stock colours. Equally useful is a button or a detachable strap. If you don't have any spare fabric, we recommend using colour tester cards from the paint department at your local DIY shop. You should be able to find a match there.
