This great box combines the fantastic South African Meerlust Rubicon red wine and artisan chocolates.
This is a fabulous gift for those who love their red's big and bold, with a bottle of South Africa's historic Meerlust Estate's Rubicon (2009 Vintage), a blend of traditional Bordeaux grapes.
For those that love chocolate with their wine, you will not be disappointed with the box of a dozen red and gold foil wrapped handmade chocolate hearts and a bag of hand dipped chocolate marshmallows. These chocolates are handmade in small quantities by artisan Kiki's Chocolates of Coldingham.
Variations
The Meerlust Estate Rubicon can be substituted with either a Chateauneuf-de-Pape or a New Zealand (Marlborough) Sauvignon Blanc.
The Chateauneuf-de-Pape is the fantastic Clefs des Papes from the great 2010 vintage.
The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is one of the best examples of a vibrant and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc from Villa Maria's Reserve label - the Marlborough Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc.

ALTERNATIVE WINE OPTION: Chateauneuf-du-Pape Clefs des Papes 2011 is a 750ml bottle 14% ABV.
ALTERNATIVE WINE OPTION: Villa Maria Reserve Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc is bottled in a 750ml bottle 13% ABV.
Kiki's Chocolate Hearts contain: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, emulsifier: soy lecithin (E322), flavouring: natural vanilla.
Kiki's Chocolates Marshmallows hand dipped in Belgian dark chocolate contain: Cocoa mass (cocoa 55%), sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin (E322), flavouring: natural vanilla; marshmallows (glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, water, gelatine, anti-caking agent: maize starch, flavouring, colours: E162).
All chocolates are made by an artisan in a single environment, so may contain milk, nut, soya and wheat traces.
