Seasonal Information

Please note that we are doing ongoing plant maintenance throughout the year so your plant when it arrives may not be in leaf, bud or flower or may have overflowed while in the box during transit. This cannot be helped and is a natural process for a plant to flower so please bear this in mind when ordering as we will not accept any returns if a plant has no flowers or has over flowered. If you do not want to keep the plant any returns must be funded by yourself and we will only refund the cost of the plant once it has been received at our premises.

If you are in any doubt as to what the plant will look like at the time of despatch please email us before placing your order and we will be happy to advise you.

Goods supplied are not for resale or propagation. We reserve the right to cancel an order at any time.

Please note, due to extreme hot weather conditions over summer, all items must be taken out of the box unwrapped and watered if necessary. Failing to do this will not give your plant a good start and will suffer from heat damage. You are purchasing a living plant gift that will bloom and flower for many years if planted out in the correct way.

All roses must be sprayed throughout the growing season. Blackspot, greenfly,blackfly and any fungal airborne diseases are a common problems, and regular spraying will help to prevent these problems.

Giftaplant deliveries to anywhere within the England, Wales, and parts of Scotland excluding the highlands, for £6.50. Delivery Monday - Friday only if your order is placed by midday and your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days upon receipt of order. All items will be delivered on working days not weekend ie- Saturday and Sunday.. Please note that delivery dates and times are a request only and are not guaranteed. We will not refund the delivery charge if an item is delayed or not delivered with the quoted time frame.

The customer (buyer) must advise Giftaplant within three days of the expected delivery date of any deliveries that are not made by the requested delivery date. If the item is being sent to a different address to the customer, it is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the recipient is in possession of the item and to notify us within three days if the delivery has not been made. We will not be refunding or replacing any orders that have not adhered to this three day limit.

Substitutes- If you order an item and it is currently out of stock, we reserve the right to replace it with something similar without notifying you.

If you require items to be delivered for a specific date then this must be done at the time of ordering. If this is not done with the order then we cannot guarantee that the good will be delivered on the date requested.

CHANGES OF ADDRESS - CHANGES OF ADDRESS TO ORDERS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED AND AN ADMINISTRATION CHARGE MAY BE APPLIED FOR INCORRECT ADDRESSES

Orders - once you received a shipping notice and did not receive the goods within 4 working day, you should notify us by phone or email. If you you have not contacted us within this period refunds and replacements will not be made. This is applicable to all Christmas items, if you are sending the goods to a 3rd party please make sure that they are in receipt of the goods within the quoted 4 working day time frame once you have had a shipping notice.. Refunds or replacement goods will not be made after this date.If you are sending the item as a gift it is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient will be in to take delivery or that there is somewhere safe for the item to be left. If the recipient is not in at the time of delivery and a 'Delivery attempted' card is left by the courier, it is the responsibility of yourself or the recipient to contact the courier to arrange a suitable redelivery date. Once a delivery has been made or attempted the ownership of the goods is passed to you.
