Bring a bit of the Cornish coast into your home with this hand printed lino print.
A beautiful oringinal linocut of sheep grazing gently on the banks of a typical Cornish Estuary. The lovely pink hydrangeas are growing and, as you'd expect in Du Maurier country, the dark trees reach down the hill to the water's edge. It would make an ideal picture to hang in a coastal home or as a gift for anyone who loves the water.
Available framed in 1" solid natural oak with acrylic safety glazing or unframed and simply mounted in cream.
Grazing by the Estuary is lovingly hand printed onto archival paper using an antique cast iron press and printmaking inks. It is part of a limited edition of 50 and each linocut is signed and numbered.
Linocuts are a form of printmaking developed in the early 20th century when artists such as Picasso experimented with the technique. Fiona loves working in this medium and uses it to create nostalgic prints of the British coast. She hand cuts and prints each artwork at her studio near the beautiful Rutland water.
