We are Abby & Hannah, the sisters behind Every Story. We hand make ceramics from our studio in the Vale of Belvoir, nestled in rural Nottinghamshire.

It all began through a desire to create thoughtful pieces for the home with each piece individually handcrafted into organic forms taking inspiration from nature and the beauty found in the surrounding countryside and afar.

Our ceramics are designed to be beautiful as well as functional, bringing a touch of joy to your every day. We use a variation of stoneware and earthware clays that have beautiful textures as well as copper flecks, naturally found in the clay. Each piece requires two firings in the kiln and it is on the second and final firing where we apply our carefully curated palette of glazes to finish our pieces with no two being the same.

From the very beginning, we aimed to reduce our impact on the planet in any way we could. The first task was sourcing sustainable alternatives for our packaging.

As ceramics need to be well protected in transit, anything we sourced had a very important job to do. Thankfully, we’re so pleased to have found packaging which is recyclable, reusable or compostable and more sustainable than their plastic alternatives.
