No real limitation on the amount of lettering you have gives a perfect opportunity to make a very personal plaque that will a permanent reminder of a very special day. Placed in the garden either fixed to a wall or stone or mounted on a steel backing and leg in a favourite part of the garden, it will bring pleasure for along, long time.
Before the letters are cut each plaque is drawn up by our experienced craftsmen who ensure the correct size lettering and layout is used to suit each individual plaque.
With all plaque celebrating a wedding or anniversary we will send a layout drawing showing the suggested layout for your approval before cutting the letters giving you the opportunity to make last minute changes to the wording and layout.
Variations
The plaques are available in two letter styles Roman or Sabon, infilled white.
A large proportion of the plaques we make are supplied without holes where the customers place the plaque in a rockery or cemented to a stone. They can be supplied with or without holes or alternatively mounted on a metal backing and steel leg painted black.
Four sizes are available. The standard and most popular is 20 x 15 cms but where there are longer names we recommend the 23 x 13cms, larger sizes 25 x 15cms and 30 x 20cms.

Made from
The slate plaque is made from dark grey slate quarried in the UK and is unaffected by extreme weather or frost. No maintenance is required other than an occasional wash. All are made from monumental quality slate 12 - 15mm thick with deeply engraved letters and will last a lifetime.
