An elephant planter, glazed with periwinkle blue glossy glaze. This is a medium planter ideal for succulents with multiple heads or larger succulent plants. The glaze is slightly translucent, showing the speckly stoneware clay. This pot has no drainage hole. Hand wash only. Ready to ship.

I hand-built this stoneware planter and then glazed it with high quality, food safe, lead free glaze. Stoneware ceramics are more durable than earthenware and great for daily use.

Design Forest pottery is stoneware which means it is fired to higher temperatures. The high firing process makes it more durable, sturdier, chip resistant and completely waterproof. Stoneware is ideal for daily use. I use high quality, lead free, food safe, stoneware glazes.

My pottery is suitable for indoor and outdoor use although I would recommended bringing planters in when it’s cold and frosty just in case. All my ceramics are hand built with care, they still retain a hand-crafted charm and unique feel unlike perfectly manufactured pottery. Imperfection is a part of handmade pottery charm and each piece is unique.
