Our Story
An award-winning business founded by an award-winning chocolatier.
Established in 2021, Délicieux Chocolat is an award-winning, small chocolate business based in West Yorkshire. Our founder, Reece Hunt, is a Young Pastry Masterchef of Great Britain winner, and has been a UK & Ireland Junior Chocolate Master Runner-up on two occasions (2015, 2018).
Our main aim at Délicieux is to work directly with cacao farmers across different continents around the world. We want to provide farmers with a greater deal and greater respect. Our beliefs can be categorised into 3 words. ‘Sustainable, Ethical, Original’. Sustainability is at the forefront of everything we do, and we believe this is vital for the future of the business in every aspect. By preserving the land, respecting cacao farmers and continuously monitoring our supply chain, we can all enjoy chocolate in a much more sustainable manner. For example, all our packaging is 100% recyclable, and we avoid the use of plastics wherever we possibly can.

With over 10 years experience, Reece decided to launch Délicieux with three questions in mind:
"How can we support cacao farmers better?"
We strongly believe that you get what you pay for. For us, the answer to the question is simple - cacao farmers deserve to be paid more fairly for their crops. Our goal is to provide farmers with greater respect, a greater deal and greater rewards.
"How can we make top-quality chocolate more readily available?"
We aim to educate customers further by offering workshops which will allow customers to work with chocolate first-hand and learn a little more about where this magical product originates and how it is produced.
