"The Pear" by Pamela Lawton
This piece of work comments on the use of pesticides on our food; the image of the moth refers to the insect which in nature attacks the pear tree.
This is a stunning piece of art work which will look fabulous on any wall. It provides an ideal talking point and would make a great gift either for yourself, or a friend or family member.
It has the PL porcelain lozenge as the signature to authenticate the work. Please note that the frame does not contain glass and is therefore open at the front.
Slip cast in fine porcelain, the pear is half glazed. The tip of the stalk is embellished with gold lustre.
